Adam builds a programme that suits each individual client, taking into account everything from personal preferences (like a need to consume lots of cheese and wine) to illnesses and injuries (including a dodgy knee and recovering from pneumonia). With his adaptability, guidance and support I have improved my overall fitness levels, which as an asthmatic, was one of my most paramount goals to achieve.
At the start of this journey I took part in a 12 week weight loss programme which was hugely successful. It was easy to follow, did not affect my daily life and I certainly did not go hungry! Adam remained a constant support throughout and was a great inspiration to keep going. During this period I managed to lose 10kg of bodyweight whilst building my strength across a magnitude of exercises!
Adam likes to go above and beyond for his clients and enjoyment in exercising is always a priority. Last year, he arranged for a group of us to take part in a fitness competition. He trained us both carefully and intensively and for me, it was an experience like no other. It was a lot of fun, an incredible achievement and I even got a medal!
Mostly, however, my time with Adam has consisted of training four times a week purely for the sake of keeping healthy, active and toned.
After a day at work it can be difficult to find the motivation to complete a work out, but the feeling of accomplishment I experience at the end of each AWPT session has made this commitment easy, rewarding and, most importantly, extremely enjoyable.
