After signing up to AWPT Hub you may be wanting to invest in some more equipment for your workouts. Below is a list of where to get the best deals on the equipment used for the programming on the website.

Kettlebells:
You can simply purchase these from eBay or Amazon. They always have deals on kettlebells throughout the year so you just need to do a bit of research and you can usually find a good deal.

The best kettlebells that I have found are ‘cast iron’ with a rubber coating. These are the most durable and easy to use in terms of being uniformed in size and shape.

Resistance Bands:
There are 2 different styles of resistance bands that I recommend to clients.

The first one is the larger circular resistance band that you can purchase from www.myprotein.com – choose the lowest resistance available on the website as this is usally more than enough to work with at first. If and when you need more you can order a larger resistance band from the same website.

The second style of resistance band is one which as a rubber tube connected between 2 handles. I personally love the SKLZ RESISTANCE CABLE SET which again is best purchased online via eBay or Amazon.

Additional Equipment that is of benefit for you to buy that is all available online would be:
– An adjustable workout bench. Doesn’t have to be expensive but try to make sure it is easy to adjust and doesn’t take up to much space when storing.
– A yoga mat. This is a great piece of equipment to have that won’t take up any space when storing (as they can be rolled up and stored away) and will add comfort to your core and floor based exercises.
– A pull up bar and dipping station. Both of these are best purchased via eBay or Amazon and are a fantastic addition to any home gym.
– Battle Ropes and a Sled/Prowler are both awesome pieces of equipment but are obviously only for those of you who have space. I got both of these from www.spartan-fit.co.uk and I highly recommend that company!

So there you have my home gym check list. If you require any further help with kitting out your home gym then do not hesitate to contact me via the forum on the website!
